A teaser (much softer than Sunday's) ran during tonight's news regarding the story on how a new treatment for Lou Gehrig's Disease might be as close as your skin. It said that the story would run tomorrow (Wednesday). The "cure" word wasn't used in this teaser.
To all those who landed here looking for news of the story, welcome. Please stop by regularly. We hope that CBS News will have something good for us all to see posted on their website tomorrow.
I have been searching the net since the first glimpse of the teaser aired on CBS this past Sunday regarding the suggestion of a cure for ALS made by Katie Couric. WIth the tragic loss of two friends in the last year to the devastation of this disease I anxiously await the revelation, and remain hopeful and positive, thank you for at least some clue as to what is to come
ReplyDeleteFollowing was posted by Project ALS on Facebook: Project A.L.S. research will be featured on CBS News with Katie Couric Wednesday 7/1 at 6:30pm - tune in!

ReplyDeleteMy mom has this horrific disease and we would love to hear about a cure. It has been terribly hard on everyone. My little girl is only 15 months old and I'm due in November with a little boy. Wouldn't it be great if their grandma could see them grow up!! Can't wait to watch tonight!
ReplyDeleteDid anyone see it? Was it on tonight? I saw most of the show, but missed the first few minutes. I didn't see anything and they don't have anything on their website. What did I miss?
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen anything on the CBS website...am I just missing it?
ReplyDeletePlease don't tease us! I too anxiously await a treatment/cure for this terrible disease that took my mom 16 years ago. Too little is being done to understand this disease. It's horrible on the person and their family. Katie - please update us! THANK YOU!!!
ReplyDeleteCBS has reached a new low... touting a "possible cure" for ALS in their Sun.
ReplyDeletenight teaser. No ratings war could justify baiting an audience with such tactics, especially an audience living with the horrors of this disease. Shame on all involved!
