Thought it had been cured by now? Still no known cause. Still no cure. Still quickly fatal. Still outrageous.

Thanks, CVS
Just had a tweet come through from www.alstherapyalliance.org that CVS and customers raised over $4 million for ALS research in their recent point-of-sale campaign. They also raised a lot of awareness among their many customers. That is priceless.
CVS should be the model for other companies to fight ALS taking the burden away from all ALS patients. Businesses, large and small need to be more proactive across the land. Putting faith in the DOD falls short of what research requires. In 43 years the MDA has taken in 1.5 billion from business.
I am directly associated with The ALS Therapy Alliance, and I am also very grateful for CVS' support over the past 9 years to our organization. They are a model corporation and I only hope there are more out there that care as much about finding a cure for ALS like CVS.
